Retraction Procedure

      The editorial board of the journal Scientific Progress & Innovations is responsible for the integrity of the scientific archive. We recognize that errors or violations may be found in the published materials that require an official response.
      The Editorial Board is committed to ensuring openness, transparency, and timely responses to all substantiated complaints or suggestions received from authors, reviewers, or readers. Each submission is considered individually, taking into account its nature and complexity. The policy for retractions and corrections of published articles is based on the COPE guidelines on Retractions.

All proposals and complaints must be sent to the official email address of the journal. A complaint must be clear, concise, and reasoned, providing sufficient data to support a potential breach of publication ethics or editorial policy. Where possible, the applicant should attach evidence supporting their position.
      Upon receipt of such an appeal, the Editorial Board conducts a thorough investigation involving the authors and, if necessary, independent external experts. Messages are reviewed within ten working days.
      In the event of significant violations or data inaccuracies, the Editorial Board may decide to retract a previously published article. The final decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief.

      Grounds for retraction include:
      - clear evidence that the findings are unreliable, whether as a result of misconduct (e.g., data fabrication, image manipulation) or honest error;
      - duplicate publication of results in previous works without proper attribution or permission (redundant publication);
      - evidence of fictitious or false authorship;
      - compromised peer review process;
      - research conducted in violation of ethical standards or professional codes.

      Following the decision to retract the article:
      - a Retraction Notice with an explanation of the reasons is published on the journal's website in the current issue;
      - the PDF file of the article has a watermark "RETRACTED" added to each page;
      - the title of the article will be changed to "Retraction: [Article Title]";
      - the article is not removed from the site and archives (PKP-PN, NBUV) to preserve the integrity of the scientific record, but is marked as invalid

      Article Removal
      An article is removed from the site only in exceptional cases when required by applicable legal regulations (in particular, personal data protection, copyright infringement, enforcement of court decisions, or security considerations).
      In this case, a page with a brief explanation of the reason for the metadata removal remains in place of the article.

The Editorial Board reserves the right to decide on future cooperation with the author(s) of a retracted or removed article.

In some cases, authors of a scientific article under consideration by the journal's editorial board may request the retraction of their manuscript. This request can only be made before the article is published. To withdraw a manuscript, authors should contact the journal's editorial office and provide a letter containing a clear and understandable explanation of the reasons for withdrawal. The letter must be concise and signed by all of the article's authors. The withdrawn manuscript will be completely removed from the publisher's database, but the copyright will remain with the article's authors.
